While Mother Nature is doing her part to add color to the Tri-State area, many residents are adding their own autumnal or spooky flair to their homes.
Betty Krause has a a plastic skeleton with eyes that light up hanging from her Funkstown home's front door light.
Then there are the two huge sets of red eyes peering out of the large eerie skulls in the family's front windows on East Chestnut Street, at top of page.
The skulls are part of big, window-size plastic sheets the family bought at Martin's Food Market, Krause said.
