Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, Gerrardstown, W.Va., a community Fall Fun Day will be today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The free event sponsored by the youth group will offer live music, a petting zoo, face painting, a moonbounce, a cake walk, kids' games and other fun. Those who can are asked to bring an item for Loaves and Fishes, the emergency food pantry serving Berkeley County, W.Va.

Baha'i Center, 308 S. Buchanan St., Ranson, W.Va., an open house will be held this Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.

Food, fellowship, entertainment and children's events will be featured.

Greencastle (Pa.) Church of God, the Rev. Norm Gloecker will be speaking at revival services this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.


Services will continue at 7 nightly through Oct. 31.

Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church, 11507 Robinwood Drive, this Sunday from 5:30 to 8 p.m., a special event entitled Heroes Unmasked will be held.

Children and their families will encounter costumed Bible hero actors, play more than a dozen games, decorate cookies to take home, do crafts, and collect Bible hero cards to trade and treasure.

St. James Catholic Church, Main Street, Boonsboro, on Monday, Oct. 29, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., a children's parade and party will be held.

The children will parade around the block with instruments to the tune of "When the Saints Go Marching In," and then play interactive games. Refreshments and punch will be served.
