Hagerstown Lionesses

Thursday, Nov. 1, dinner at 6:30 p.m., Cortland Mansion, 19411 Cortland Drive, Hagerstown. The program will be a "Holiday Prelude" auction; silent and live bidding. Items will include baked goods and candies, home and holiday decorations, miscellaneous gifts and a dinner prepared and served by a Lioness in her home. Lionesses are urged to invite relatives, neighbors and friends. Guests are welcome. All guest reservations and cancellations must be made no later than Sunday, Oct. 28. MOMS Club Hagerstown North

Safe and Snug Program donations

CUMBERLAND, MD. -Susquehanna Bank will be accepting new coats, hats and gloves. Drop-off boxes will be in the lobbies of the bank's branches. The items are being collected for Allegany County Department of Social Services' Safe and Snug Program. The boxes will be in place through Friday, Nov. 30. Monetary donations may be made by check payable to ACDSS with Family Preservation written in the memo section and mailed to Department of Social Services, P.O. Box 1420, Cumberland, MD 21501-1420.

Annual Autumn Auction
