Catering business inquires about liquor license requirements



During a Wednesday meeting with county liquor officials, representatives from Dimensions catering on Dual Highway in Hagerstown asked about the requirements involved with obtaining a liquor license.

Robert L. Everhart, chairman of the Board of License Commissioners for Washington County, said that Dimensions, among other things, would have to pass inspections from the fire and health departments to be considered.




Board approves transfer of Boonsboro Liquor's liquor license



The Board of License Commissioners for Washington County on Tuesday approved the transfer of Boonsboro Liquor's liquor license to the business' new owner.

John Wilson of Damascus, Md., said he recently bought Boonsboro Liquors at 10 S. Main St. from Dr. Gary L. Kimberlin.
