Boy Scout Troop 136 holds Court of Honor, awards badges

Boy Scout Troop 136 of Halfway held its Court of Honor Oct. 2 at the Church of the Holy Trinity.

Scoutmaster Don Gehr and Assistant Scoutmaster Bentley Straley presented the following awards to the Boy Scouts:

Ben Robinson: Basketry, Fingerprinting, Rifle Shooting, Swimming and Woodcarving merit badges and Second Class Rank

Alex Potter: Fire Safety merit badge and Second Class Rank

Brandon Mauck: Communications, Emergency Preparedness, Personal Management merit badges

Nick Bunocore: Bird Study, Emergency Preparedness and Weather merit badges

Tyler Rice: Bird Study, Citizenship in the Nation, Emergency Preparedness and Weather merit badges

Spencer Nally: Bird Study, Climbing and Fire Safety merit badges

Bentley Straley: Communication, Fire Safety merit badges and BSA Lifeguard award

Kyle Zittle: Computers and Pottery merit badges, Mile Swim award, BSA Lifeguard award, Silver Eagle Palm, Bronze Eagle Palm and Gold Eagle Palm


Ethan Frusher: Cooking, Leatherwork and Swimming merit badges

Drake Kessell: Scout Rank

Michael Langmyer: Environmental Science, Forestry, Insect Study, Reptile and Amphibian Study, Soil and Water Conservation merit badges and Star Rank
