AARP driver safety program to be held

The AARP Driver Safety Program will be Tuesday, Nov. 27 and Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 12:15 to 4:15 p.m. at the Washington County Commission on Aging, 140 W. Franklin St., 4th floor, Hagerstown. The instructor is Richard Mooers.

The cost of the class is $10 per person and checks should be made payable to AARP. If class is canceled, enrollees are notified and registration fees returned or held for the next scheduled class. The class is designed to help drivers improve their skills and prevent traffic accidents. AARP's Driver Safety Program is approved in every state, and automobile insurance companies in some states provide premium reductions to those who have taken the class. Classes are open to drivers of all ages.

For further information or to register for class, please call Judy Brewer at the Washington County Commission on Aging, 301-790-0275, ext. 220.
