Heritage Academy plans blood drive

October 22, 2007

Each year, the senior class at Heritage Academy sponsors a blood drive.

The Washington County blood supply is desperately low, and it is very important to get as many donations as possible.

If the class reaches its goal of 35 units, the Red Cross will give a $250 scholarship to one of the seniors.

People 16 years of age or older are urged to donate.

The drive will take place at the Heritage Academy gym on Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Heritage Academy is at 12215 Walnut Point West, Hagerstown.

Anyone who donates will receive a free T-shirt. If interested, call the school at 301-582-2600.
