Michael and Monica Robinson of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Rebecca Robinson, to Corey Robert Cunningham, son of Christine Bartles and Robert A. Cunningham of Hagerstown.

Miss Robinson is a 2007 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. She is employed with The Herald-Mail and plans to attend Hagerstown Community College in the spring of 2008.

Mr. Cunningham is a 2004 graduate of Williamsport High School and a 2004 graduate of Basic Military Training and Security Forces Academy at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He received an Associate of Art from Community and Technical College of Shepherd in Martinsburg, W.Va., in 2006, majoring in criminal justice. He is employed with Home Depot and the Air National Guard 167th.


An October 2009 wedding is planned.


Frances Miller and Christopher Pierce announce their engagement.

Ms. Miller is the daughter of Kenneth Miller of Boonsboro and Janet VanJeune of Hagerstown. Mr. Pierce is the son of Steve and Linda Pierce of Williamsport.

Ms. Miller is a graduate of Boonsboro High School, Hagerstown Community College, and Synergy Healing Arts Center and Massage School in Blue Ridge Summit, Pa. She is employed at Washington County Hospital and also is self-employed as a certified massage therapist in Hagerstown.

Mr. Pierce is a graduate of Williamsport High School. He is employed with the State of Maryland.

An April 18, 2008, wedding is planned.


Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rosko of Boonsboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Rae Stewart, to Lt. Christopher D. Robertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Robertson of Keedysville, Md. Miss Stewart also is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Stewart of Long Island, N.Y.

Miss Stewart is a 2004 graduate of Boonsboro High School. She will receive her Bachelor of Arts from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago in December 2007.

Lt. Robertson is a 2002 graduate of Boonsboro High School and a 2006 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic and State University. He is serving in the U.S. Army at Fort Campbell, Ky.
