A Hagerstown woman was arrested Saturday morning in connection with the Sept. 15 robbery of Pizza Hut on Dual Highway in Hagerstown, according to a Washington County Sheriff's Department press release.
Miava Tiria Wiggins, 37, of 1531 Violet Drive, was charged with armed robbery, robbery, theft less than $500, four counts of second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, conspiracy-armed robbery, conspiracy-robbery, conspiracy-theft-$500, conspiracy second-degree assault and conspiracy-reckless endangerment, police said.
Wiggins was released from custody after a District Court commissioner set her bail at $50,000, police said.
Wiggins was at Pizza Hut when the robbery occurred, police said. Witnesses said she was acting suspiciously by looking out the door when the robbery was in progress.
When Hagerstown police arrested Russell King on Sept. 19 during a traffic stop in connection with the Pizza Hut robbery, Wiggins was driving the vehicle, police said.
