Greencastle-Antrim Women's Fellowship

Valley Art Association

Wednesday, Oct. 24, 6:30 p.m., Mansion House Art Gallery, City Park, Hagerstown. The group will have its annual white elephant sale of art supplies. After a short business meeting and refreshments, Margaret Moore will demonstrate a watercolor collage using oriental papers, concentrating on design. Anyone interested in art is invited.

Emmitsburg Senior Citizens

AAUW fall used book sale

Used cookbook sale

Today through Sunday, Oct. 21; 2 to 9 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday., Rural Heritage Museum, Washington County Agricultural Education Center, Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown. The Rural Heritage Museum will hold a used cookbook sale. Proceeds will benefit the museum and village with funds for programming and educational events.
