Waynesboro, Pa., and Chambersburg police charged him with kidnapping a 16-year-old from the Kmart shopping center on Sept. 16, 2004, in her own vehicle, driving her to an unknown place and sexually assaulting her. twelve dsays later a 20-year-old woman was abducted in the same manner at the Weis Market parking lot in Chambersburg.

Those victims and two victims of similar crimes in Maryland testified Monday and the jury also heard extensive testimony from police about the collection and testing of DNA samples that linked the Pennsylvania and Maryland assaults.
