Fahrney-Keedy Home receives gift

Fahrney-Keedy Home and Village recently received a $1,000 donation from M&T Charitable Foundation. The bank's gift is the latest in a series of contributions over the last few years.

Jay Shell, president and CEO of Fahrney-Keedy, thanked the bank.

"We cannot serve our residents and give them the quality care they deserve without financial support from donors. These funds will help us in our mission to continue serving our community with caring quality service," he said.

Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village, a continuing care retirement community, is along Md. 66 several miles west of Boonsboro. With 160 full- and part-time employees. it serves a resident population of almost 200 women and men over the age of 60 in independent living (apartments and cottages), assisted living and long- and short-term nursing care.
