Workers from CSX should finish making repairs to the three railroad crossings at Park Circle sometime Wednesday afternoon, said Jim Bender, the City of Hagerstown's assistant engineer.

The Hagerstown City Council recently approved putting signs at the crossings with CSX's telephone number so residents could call and complain about the condition of the tracks.

In a separate project, CSX crews finished making temporary repairs last week to the railroad crossing at Oak Hill, Bender said. Permanent repairs are scheduled tentatively for next year, he said.

CSX's telephone number was placed at the Oak Hill crossing as well.

CSX did not return a telephone call seeking comment.
