How did you get into your business or what motivated you to start it?: "My twenty-five plus years of experience encompass teaching at technical high school as well as beauty school.

"The beauty industry is always changing and growing and I am also growing and changing in my skill and creativity. It is a field of work that allows for artistic interpretation and input that creates new and exciting outcomes.

"I view each client as an opportunity for an exchange of ideas, which I endeavor to translate into a refreshing and beautifying experience. The outcome of this interaction is that both my client and I are satisfied.

"I feel my salon encourages an experience of comfort and relaxation, my clients have expressed a feeling of rejuvenation in its environment. This is in keeping with an attitude and a dream I have long held."

Hours: Tuesday and Thursday, noon to 7 p.m.; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Friday, noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also open by appointment. Closed Sunday and Monday.
