Samples Manor Church of God, 2128 Harpers Ferry Road, fall revival services will continue tonight at 7:30 with Richard and Mary Fox and the Rev. Bobby Yost.

On Sunday, the Revs. Kenny Johnson Jr. and Lane Fishel will speak at 7 p.m.

Orchard House at Trinity Center, 4599 Shepherdstown Road, Martinsburg, W.Va., tonight at 6 p.m., a communion service of scripture, meditative prayer and music in the Taize tradition will be held.

Washington Square United Methodist Church, 538 Washington Ave., Hagerstown, a Taste of the Square food festival will be today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be soups, sandwiches, cookies, candy, and many other baked goods and drinks. These homemade items will be available for eat in, carry out or bulk purchase.

Soups will include ham and bean, vegetable and chicken corn.

There will also be a white elephant sale table.

Proceeds will benefit the church capital improvement fund.

In case of bad weather, all activities will be moved to the church social hall.

Beaver Creek Christian Church, 9711 Beaver Creek Church Road, a harvest festival today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. will feature a yard sale beginning at 8 a.m.

The Beaver Creeky Quilters will raffle a handmade quilt to benefit Cumberland Valley Breast Cancer Awareness. A large number of quilts will be on display. Lots of food and fun for all.

Mountain View Baptist Church, 12107 Walnut Point Road, Hagerstown, Pastor Terrell Hopkins of Locust Grove, Ga., will be preaching Sept. 30 at 9:30, 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m., and Oct. 1-5 at 7 nightly.

There will be special music each night.

New Beginning Full Gospel Church, U.S. 11, three miles north of Martinsburg, W.Va., Evangelist/singer Quinton Mills will be preaching and singing this Sunday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

New Day Ministries, Church and Green streets, Middletown, Md., Sue Ekenberg will be guest speaker Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Middletown Valley Aglow Community Lighthouse event.

Asbury United Methodist Church, 101 W. All Saints St., Frederick, the 2007 Gospel Extraordinare, will be held Oct. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m.
