Washington County Sheriff's Department responds to calls

The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the following calls Thursday and Friday, according to Lt. Mark Knight.


· At 9 a.m., the theft of a tree stand and related hunting equipment was reported on University Road.

· At 10 a.m., the theft of a laptop computer was reported at General Binding Corp. on Western Maryland Parkway.

· At 11 a.m., the theft of a wallet with $23 and credit cards was reported at Robinwood Medical Center.

· At 6 p.m., the theft of two BMX-style bicycles was reported in the 13800 block of Countryside Drive.


· At 2 a.m., the theft of two nail guns and a cell phone from a truck was reported at the Tractor Supply distribution center on Hopewell Road in Halfway.


· At 6 a.m., the theft of a 2004 Dodge Ram truck was reported at Potomac Valley Building Restoration on Country Store Lane. The truck had Maryland license plate 40K712.
