Pacific Boychoir

Railroad museum

Fall harvest fest

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - PIGS Animal Sanctuary will host its annual harvest fest. Children's activities include scarecrow making, face painting, moon bounce, balloon animals and bobbing for apples. Hispanic festival

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - This year's theme is "Celebrating Community Spirit." Rudy Gonzales y Su Locura, a Latin cover band, will play salsa, merengue and cumbia music from noon to 3:30 p.m. Dancers will perform and teach hip-hop, cumbia, merengue and salsa. Children's activities will include crafts, face painting and piatas. There will be Chihuahua races at 3:30 p.m. for any dog weighing less than 15 pounds. String quartet meets rock 'n' roll

Smithsburg Steam Engine & Craft Show

SMITHSBURG - Steam engines, farm equipment and gas engines will be on display. The steam engines will take turns powering the sawmill throughout the weekend. Celebrating women

An introduction to Washington County's first women's magazine, H.E.R. Local.
