Billiards parlor hosts league play

September 26, 2007

The question that many people have when they call Hagerstown Billiards & Cafe, Tammy Munson said, is whether food and drinks are available. Yes, they are, she said - there's a caf inside.

Tammy and Roger Munson bought the billiards hall at 1845 Dual Highway in Hagerstown in October 2006. Tammy Munson said it's meant to be for all ages; her children play there often.

Hagerstown Billiards & Cafe has 25 tables. It is open Monday through Saturday from noon to 2 a.m. and Sunday from noon to midnight.

The cost to play depends on the number of players at a table and whether you play on a 7-foot table or a 9-foot table.

A daily special is offered from noon to 5 p.m. during the week.

Hagerstown Billiards & Cafe hosts American Poolplayers Association league play on Tuesday and Thursday nights. A Billiard Congress of America league is scheduled to start this fall.
