MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Mercersburg Academy scored first and last in the first half, but what happened in between did in the Blue Storm on Sunday.

Hun School crossed Mercersburg's goal line five times for a 35-10 halftime lead and went on to a 48-17 victory in the Mid-Atlantic Prep League opener.

A.J. Firestone's 42-yard field goal put the Blue Storm (1-2, 0-1) on top 3-0, but it wasn't until Hun (2-0, 1-0) put up five scores that Mercersburg scored again, on a 46-yard pass from Trevor Smith to Jordan Riley.

Hun's first two scores came on a kickoff return and a return of a fumble - one of three lost by the Blue Storm in the first half. For the game, Mercersburg lost four fumbles and had two passes intercepted, helping set up a short field for Hun.
