HAGERSTOWN - A man arrested Wednesday by Hagerstown Police officers on an open parole violation warrant out of New Jersey was in Washington County District Court Thursday afternoon. A judge set his bond at $275,000.
Russell Anthony King, 43, was charged with armed robbery and other offenses Wednesday through the Washington County Sheriff's Department in a Sept. 13 robbery of the Dunkin' Donuts on Dual Highway, court documents show.
King was being held Thursday evening at the Washington County Detention Center, a deputy said.
During the Dunkin' Donuts robbery, a man showed a handgun and forced two employees to open two cash registers, police have said.
The man grabbed one of the workers by the neck and took him to a cash register, district court documents show. Dunkin' Donuts employees figure the man took $575, according to documents.
