A Baltimore woman pleaded guilty Thursday in Washington County Circuit Court to conspiracy to deliver contraband to Roxbury Correctional Institution south of Hagerstown.

Dawn M. Amig, 42, was charged with conspiracy to deliver contraband and several other crimes in a March incident in which she and a Theresa Anne Wilson were stopped in the RCI parking lot after prison staff intercepted telephone conversations between Wilson and Antoine Wilson, according to charging documents.

Theresa Wilson admitted to smuggling drugs in her underwear and said Amig gave her the drugs, according to documents.

Washington County Circuit Judge Donald Beachley postponed sentencing and continued Amig's bond. Conviction on the charge of conspiracy to deliver contraband carries a maximum sentence of three years in prison, Beachley said.
