The City of Hagerstown hosted a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for JosephAnn Salon on Tuesday, Sept. 18. The event was held at the salon at 32 Summit Ave. in Hagerstown.

Owners Ursula Mason and Scott Guillory were joined by Hagerstown Mayor Bob Bruchey in presenting this new business to the downtown district.

JosephAnn Salon is a full-service diverse salon catering to all hair care needs for men, women and children and offers salon-exclusive products as well.

"This salon is a huge contribution to Hagerstown's downtown business district," said Deborah Everhart, director of Economic Development. "The owners have set a fantastic example of how new life can be restored in old places by renovating the space and creating a beautiful environment with a relaxing, and simultaneously classy atmosphere. Their effort and hard work continues to flow into their devotion to building trust and satisfying their clientele."
