Golf course to close for maintenance
Hagerstown Greens at Hamilton Run, at 2 S. Cleveland Ave. in Hagerstown, will be closed Sept. 24 and 25 for aerification and top-dressing of the greens.
The golf course is expected to reopen Sept. 26 at noon. Weather delays could postpone the procedure until the following week.

Pa. library schedules book club discussion
BLUE RIDGE SUMMIT, Pa. - The Blue Ridge Summit Library will hold a book club discussion of Patricia Gaffney's newest novel "Mad Dash" on Thursday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m.
Gaffney, a New York Times best-selling author, will be available to sign copies of "Mad Dash" that are brought to the discussion.
