Bulldog Viking Roundup

Sharpsburg Heritage Day

The event will celebrate the broad aspects of the town's history, including what town life was like before the Civil War. Includes craft vendors, Civil War-era performers, history lectures and music. A pig roast picnic dinner will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 209 W. Main St. Dinner is $10 for adults and $4 for children 12 and younger. Autumn Arts Festival

The event features about 50 artists, craft and food vendors, music and children's activities. Canal-Apple Days

Hancock's Lions and Lioness clubs will host the 31st Canal-Apple Days. The event features at least 60 craft, art and food vendors, children's activities and an old-fashioned press cranking out apple cider.
