Dunkin Donuts on Dual Highway robbed by man with handgun

Deputies this morning were investigating a Thursday night armed robbery at the Dunkin Donuts on Dual Highway, the Washington County Sheriff's Department said.

A man showed a handgun and forced the two employees who were in the store to open two cash registers, Sgt. Roy Harsh alleged in a news release. The man left the store with an undetermined amount of cash, Harsh said.

The man was described as black, between 30 and 40 years old, about 5 feet 5 inches to 8 inches tall, weighing about 250 pounds, according to the release. He was wearing a Baltimore Ravens baseball cap, a purple shirt, dark pants, white sneakers and sunglasses, Harsh said.
