Abuse, domestic violence

· Citizens Assisting and Sheltering the Abused (CASA), 116 W. Baltimore St., Hagerstown. Offers shelter, support groups and services for battered, sexually assaulted or homeless women and their children. Call 301-739-4990; 24-hour hot line, 301-739-8975.

· CASA Abuser Intervention Program provides support and professional counseling for people who abuse their partners. Men's groups meet Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and 8 to 10 p.m.; and Thursday from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. Women meet Thursday from 3:15 to 5 p.m. No drop-ins. Acquired brain injury

Alzheimer's disease

Cancer

· Breast Cancer group meets second Wednesday, noon, Waynesboro Country Club. Breast cancer survivors, family and friends are welcome.
