HANCOCK - The 31st annual Canal-Apple Days will get under way Sept. 15-16, beginning with the grand parade at 11 a.m. along Main Street to Widmeyer Park with approximately $2,000 in prizes to be awarded for various categories.
There will be bands, floats, Ali Ghan Shrine vehicles and fire and rescue equipment in the parade.
On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., arts and crafts and food vendors will be available.
From noon to 2 p.m., Fossil & Co will provide music; and from 3 to 5 p.m., music will be by Donna and Russ.
Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., there will be arts and crafts and food vendors. From 1 to 5 p.m., antique and classic cars will be on display.
At 1:30 p.m. Sunday is the baby contest registration. The Praise Band will provide music at 2 and 4 p.m.
Additional activities include a demonstration of an old time cider press in action as well as an antique tractor display.
