Sheriff's deputies respond to calls

September 12, 2007

The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the following calls on Tuesday, according to Lt. Mark Knight:

· Reported at 8 a.m., a break-in at Ebenezer Christian School on Virginia Avenue in Halfway. Several small portable radios were taken.

· Reported at 9 a.m., a bicycle was stolen from the 11000 block of Coventry Lane in Halfway. The estimated value of the bicycle was $100.

· Reported at 9:30 a.m., a 1997 Dodge Avenger was damaged in the 100 block of Sundown Court, in a development behind the Four Points Sheraton. The damage was estimated at more than $500.

· Reported at 11 a.m., copper was stolen from Clean Air Inc. on Governor Lane Boulevard near Williamsport.
