Service scheduled at City Council chamber

The City of Hagerstown will hold a Sept. 11 remembrance service today at 8:30 a.m. in the city council chamber.

The public is invited to attend, and the service will be broadcast live on Antietam Cable Channel 6.

Remembrance parade slated in Boonsboro

BOONSBORO - The First Hose Co. of Boonsboro will hold its annual Sept. 11 remembrance parade today at 7 p.m.

The parade will be on Main Street.

Ministerial group looks at 9/11 impact

FREDERICK, Md. - A look back at the impact of the events of Sept. 11 on individual lives and the lives of faith communities will be addressed today during a meeting of the Frederick Area Ministerial Association (FAMA).

The meeting will begin with lunch at noon. It will be at First Missionary Baptist Church at 899 Swallowtail Drive.

The association meets on the second Tuesday of each month at different churches in the area to provide fellowship, inspiration, cooperative planning and sharing of ideas on ministry.
