Students receive $1,000 scholarships from STH

FREDERICK, Md. - STH Inc. recently awarded $1,000 scholarships to four students, according to a STH press release.

The recipients are:

· Adrianne Lego and Stuart Lego of Hagerstown

· Kelly Russell of Middletown, Md.

· Jessica Beste of Shrewsbury, Pa.

Each student attends a four-year college where they have taken a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester, as well as maintained a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher, qualifying them for the scholarship.

Beste and Stuart Lego both are education majors, Adrianne Lego is majoring in psychology, and Russell is majoring in communication studies.


Established in 2006, the STH College Scholarship was established in honor of company co-founder John Shafer and his wife, Bette, for their commitment to promoting both academic and professional success in future generations, according to the release. It is their hope that the STH Scholarship continues to award hardworking students for their dedication and determination.
