Otterbein United Methodist Church, 549 N. Queen St., Martinsburg, W.Va., the annual Summerfest will be held today from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the church parking lot.

There will be free food, a moon bounce and fellowship for all.

The Good Shepherd Ministries, 19763 Longmeadow Drive, Hagerstown, the Shepherd's Fest "Ewe Rock" Kids Bash will get under way today at 10 a.m.

There will be a moon bounce, petting zoo, sno cones, crafts, lizards and snakes, firetruck demonstrations, games and free food.

Events will continue through 2 p.m.

Trinity United Church of Christ, 30 W. North St., Waynesboro, Pa., the second annual church yard sale will be held today from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the rear church parking lot and in Harbaugh Hall.

The sale includes household and kitchen Items, books, furniture, electronics and clothing. Members will also be holding a bake sale.

Anyone willing to donate items may contact the church office at 717-762-7191. Arrangements can be made to pick up large donations.

Boonsboro Family Worship Center, 7609 Old National Pike, a flea market will begin at 7 a.m. today.

Proceeds will be used to build a new building to house the planned Christian academy.

St. Paul Baptist Church, 701 W. Burke St., Martinsburg, W.Va., a celebration to honor the Rev. A.L. Lambert Jr. on his 16th pastoral anniversary will begin Sept. 12 and continue nightly at 7:15 through Sept. 14.

On Sunday, Sept. 16 at 10:45 a.m. the Rev. Marykaye Jacque will render the morning message. At 3:30 p.m., John L. McCoy, pastor of The Word of God Baptist Church, Washington, D.C., will conclude the anniversary service.

Independent Bible Church, 2306 Hedgesville Road, Martinsburg, W.Va., two adult education classes are beginning Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. and continuing through Dec. 12. The Truth About Worldviews is taught by Pastor George Michael and covers why Christians need to know and explain their worldview.

Spiritual Mothering is led by Mrs. Gerri Johnson on investing in nurturing relationships that encourage and equip one another to live for God's glory.

Unity Church in Frederick, 1 W. Ninth St., the 14th annual World Day of Prayer will be observed Thursday, Sept. 13, beginning at 12:15 p.m. with a silent service followed by a prayer vigil until 7 p.m.

At 7 p.m., there will be special unity prayers for peace featuring musician Cathy Robel.

Harmony United Methodist Church, 9455 Williamsport Pike, Falling Waters, W.Va., a church yard and food sale will be held Sept. 15 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Country ham sandwiches, hot dogs, steamers, baked goods and homemade ice cream will be available.

Mountain View Baptist Church, 12107 Walnut Point Road, Hagerstown, Blue-Gray Sunday will be observed Sunday, Sept. 16, with Alan Farley, evangelist to Civil War re-enactors, speaking at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. and at 7 p.m.
