First Baptist Church, this Sunday, Pastor Thom Smith will be speaking at the 11 a.m. service on the topic, Faith Triumphant.

Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:45 a.m.

Karen Knight will be in concert Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m.

St. Catherine Eastern Orthodox Church, Father Dennis Buck will bring the Divine Liturgy today at 9 a.m.

Vespers are tonight at 6:30, Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Friday at 10 a.m.

This Sunday at 9:30 a.m., Buck will celebrate the Divine Liturgy on the topic, The Great Commandment.

Christ Reformed UCC in Cavetown, this Sunday, Pastor Carol Hallman will be speaking on the topic, The Potter's Hand, at the 10:30 a.m. service.

The service and Sunday school begin at 9 a.m. in the old Williamsport Ambulance Company building beside the post office.

Bible study on Wednesdays is at 7 p.m. at the ambulance hall.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the film, The Cross and the Towers, will be shown tonight at 7:30 and this Sunday at 7 p.m.

The free showing is not considered appropriate for young children.

The Connecticut Civil War memorial windows will be rededicated this Sunday. Rick Morrison will play Civil War era music and Tracy Longerbeam will play taps on the trumpet. A reception will follow.

Children's Sunday school begins at 10 a.m.

Mount Vernon Reformed UCC, Keedysville, Pastor Delancy Catlett will speak at 10:45 a.m. this Sunday on the topic, Freed to Be.

Church of the Holy Trinity UCC, Halfway, the Rev. Timothy Leighton will be speaking during the 10:45 a.m. service this Sunday. The topic is The Potter's Hands.

Sunday school for adults begins at 9:30 a.m. Children's Sunday school is at 10:45 a.m. Fellowship and refreshments follow the service.

St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Scott Bellows will preach this Sunday at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services celebrating the transferred Feast Day of Saint John. The parish choir will provide music at the later service.

Registration for Sunday school and choirs will follow each service. A reception will take place at 11:30 a.m.
