Greencastle police chief resigns

Peter Mozurkevich, chief of police in Greencastle, Pa., tendered his resignation early this morning, after the borough council voted Tuesday to terminate his employment. In his two years as chief, the police department lost several full-time officers and began to rely heavily on a part-time force. Elected officials in Greencastle have quickly begun the search for Mozurkevich's replacement. Read more in Thursday's Herald-Mail newspapers.
