Hagerstown pitchers Yunior Novoa, Joseph Welsh, Yader Peralta and Josh Wilkie combined to hold Lakewood to three hits in a 7-0 shutout Saturday night at Municipal Stadium.
Novoa worked four innings, allowing two hits and three walks while striking out three. Welsh (3-2) and Peraltz each worked two innings and Peralta struck out the side in the seventh, his only inning.
Trevor Lawhorn's solo home run and Michael Martinez's two-run triple gave the Suns a 3-0 lead in the third inning.
Lawhorn added an RBI triple in the fifth and an RBI double in the seventh. Robert Jacobsen drove in a run with his seventh-inning single, and Francisco Plasencia had an RBI single in the eighth.
