Grenada native faces drug-related charges

A man from the island nation of Grenada was charged Friday with several drug-related offenses, according to a Hagerstown Police Department press release.

Keston Nichalson Clouden, 25, address unknown, was charged with distribution of marijuana, two counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, two counts of possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine and three counts of possession of marijuana, police said.

Clouden was arrested after allegedly selling marijuana to a police informant Friday night in the 200 block of East Avenue, police said. During a search, police said Clouden was in possession of eight bags of marijuana, 18 pieces of crack cocaine and $1,694.

Clouden was awaiting an appearance before a district court commissioner Friday night, police said.

Vehicle crash kills two on Md. 355

FREDERICK, Md. - Two people died Friday in a single-vehicle accident at Md. 355 and Tyler Place, according to a press release from Maryland State Police in Frederick.


The names of the victims were being withheld until next of kin were notified, police said.

The 1997 Honda SUV was southbound Friday afternoon on Md. 355 when the driver lost control of the vehicle, police said. The SUV rolled several times and struck a tree, police said.

The driver was pinned in the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, and the passenger died at Frederick Memorial Hospital, police said.
