Pa. YMCA offering school-age child care



CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Chambersburg YMCA is accepting enrollment in both of the YMCA's state-certified, school-age child-care programs for the 2007-08 school year. Daily before- and after-school care will be offered for students entering first through fifth grades at Hamilton Heights Elementary School. Hours of operation for this site are 6 to 8 a.m. and 2:40 to 6 p.m. on school days.

The YMCA also will continue to offer before-school care to students who attend Coldbrook, Andrew Buchanan, Sharpe and Falling Spring elementary schools from 6:30 to 8 a.m. at the YMCA facility. After-school care will be available for all Chambersburg Area School District students enrolled in first through fifth grades. This service includes bussing from school to the YMCA daily. Care is offered until 6 p.m. for students. There are minimum enrollment numbers from each school for bussing to occur. For information, call Carla Christian at 717-263-8508, ext. 111.

Home-schooling seminar to be held
