Found animals

The following animals were found and brought to the Humane Society of Washington County.

If you have lost your pet and you think your pet is among those listed below, please come to the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road, as soon as possible.

Shelter hours are noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. These animals may be made available for adoption after five days. Call 301-733-2060 for more information.


· Young DSH, gray and buff Torbie, found on Outer Drive.

·Adult DSH, gray tabby, found on Maugansville Road.

·Adult DSH, orange and white, found on Kelso Drive.

·Adult DSH, orange and white, found on West Washington Street.

·Adult DMH, gray and black tabby, found on Yeshua Drive.

·Senior DSH, black and tan tabby, found on Indian Cottage Road.



· Young German shepherd, black and tan, found on Elgin Boulevard.

·Young retriever mix, black and white found on Washington Street.

·Adult pit bull, brindle, found on Manse Road.

·Adult Scottish terrier, black, found on Waltz Road.

·Adult Westhighland terrier, white, found on Waltz Road.

·Senior retriever mix, black and white, found near Hagerstown Speedway.
