Sheriff's deputies respond to calls

August 30, 2007

The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the following calls Wednesday, according to Lt. Mark Knight:

· At 7:30 a.m., two vehicles were reported broken into and some CDs, a checkbook and some cigarettes were taken in the 4100 block of Trego Mountain Road.

· At 8 a.m., a vehicle was broken into and 10 CDs and a holder were reported stolen in the 1900 block of Reed Road.

·At 8 a.m., a 1996 Ford pickup truck was broken into and a wallet and $50 in cash were reported stolen in the 19700 block of Yarrowsburg Road.


· At 8 a.m., theft was reported in the 3500 block of Trego Mountain Road. A 2002 Dodge Durango was broken into and a purse and $60 in cash were taken.

· At 10 a.m., a vehicle was broken into and a purse was was reported stolen at Robinwood Medical Center.

·At 10:30 a.m., a window was reported broken on a house in the 13700 block of Maugansville Road.

· At noon, someone took $15 in change and some medication from a vehicle at Taylor Park, North Main Street in Keedysville.

· At noon, a purse was reported taken at the Robinwood Medical Center.

·At 6 p.m., a game console and four games were reported stolen in a breaking and entering in the 11200 block of Marbern Road.

· At 7 p.m., a wallet was stolen from a purse at the Colonial Motel Restaurant and Lounge, 14130 Pennsylvania Ave.

· At 8 p.m., a generator and some tools were reported stolen from a home under construction in the 18200 block of Manor Church Road.

· At 11:30 p.m., a Special Olympics donation jar was reported stolen at Sheetz, 20723 National Pike.
