Scotland Podiatric

Lisa A. Price, DPM, has joined Scotland Podiatric P.C. at its new office at 1110 Professional Court, Suite 101, in Hagerstown.

Price, of Chambersburg, Pa., graduated from Pennsylvania State University at University Park with a bachelor of science degree in biology.

She received her doctorate of podiatric medicine from Temple School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia.

She did her residency at the University of Pennsylvania - Presbyterian in Philadelphia.

Price specializes in common foot and ankle problems such as bunions, hammertoes, heel pain and ankle sprains, and has extensive training in diabetic limb salvage, trauma, ankle arthroscopic surgery and rearfoot reconstruction.

Tri-State Printing

Sam and Karen Wright of Tri-State Printing in Hagers-town have received mailpiece quality control specialists certification from the U.S. Postal Service.

The certification was awarded following rigorous training and passage of a USPS examination.

Training took place at the World Headquarters of CPrint, Certified Printers International in Charleston, W.Va. The course was led by George Heinrich, one of America's leading experts in the field.

CPrint is an organization of printers of independently owned family-based businesses that strive for professionalism and performance among small businesses.

WVU Hospitals-East

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - David Marshall has been named facilities manager for West Virginia University Hospitals-East.

Marshall has 22 years of facility management experience that includes facility operations, maintenance and repair, building construction and renovation, fiscal planning and budget management.

For the past 10 years, he has served as the facilities director and chief engineer for the Aramark Corp.

Marshall has a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and technology from Point Park University in Pittsburgh.

At WVUH-East, Marshall will oversee facility operations for the City Hospital and Jefferson Memorial Hospital campuses. He assumed his new position on Aug. 6.

Tastefully Simple

Nicole Row, a local Tastefully Simple consultant, received The Mover & Shaker Sales award at the direct-selling company's national conference, held July 26 to 29 in Minneapolis.

Row was honored for her sales success with the company's gourmet foods. She received the award for reaching sales of $35,000 to $49,000.

Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Sales professionals Darrel Reel and Sarah Reel have joined Jack Gaughen Realtor ERA's Waynesboro office.

The Reels are licensed to list and sell all types of real estate in Pennsylvania. Darrel Reel also is a certified relocation specialist.

STH Inc.

FREDERICK, Md. - Victor Klein and Tim Mullineaux were recognized for 10 years of service at STH Inc.

Klein has worked as the company's bookkeeper and has helped make several advances in the accounting department, including record high months of accounts-receivable collections.

He recently became the company's parts and service coordinator.

Mullineaux, a commercial and aftermarket account representative, has sales responsibilities for several Maryland and Northern Virginia counties, as well as the District of Columbia. He has been named STH Account Representative of the Month several times.

MCTC

Correctional Officer II Gary Renner has been named the Maryland Correctional Training Center's Employee of the Month for August.

Renner was in the officers dining hall when a piece of steak lodged in a fellow officer's throat. Renner performed the Heimlich maneuver, avoiding what could have been a serious situation.

He has been employed at MCTC since 1996.

MCI-H

The Maryland Correctional Institution-Hagerstown recognized Robert Cobb, correctional officer II, as Employee of the Month for the job he does in handling inmate programming and activities while maintaining the security of the institution.

Cobb routinely goes beyond the standards to do what is necessary for the smooth operation of the institution and also assists the shifts in working overtime to help with staffing issues, according to a prepared release.

He has been employed by the State of Maryland since 1983.

Prudential Franklin Associates, Realtors

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Prudential Franklin Associates, Realtors announced that real estate agents Bob Barton in Chambersburg and Helen Meyers in Fayetteville, Pa., were top agents for July.

Meyers also was named to the 2006 Honor Society, a national award given to the top 15 percent of sales professionals within the Prudential Real Estate Affiliates network.
