Man pleads guilty to drug charge

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A Brooklyn, N.Y., man entered a guilty plea Thursday in U.S. District Court in Martinsburg to a drug possession charge, according to a press release from U.S. Attorney Sharon L. Potter.

Marcus Franklin, 28, pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine base, known as "crack," in Martinsburg, Potter said.

Franklin is in custody pending sentencing, and faces a maximum prison sentence of 10 years to life and a $4 million fine, Potter said.
