The Berkeley County Public Service Water District is working on five projects that are expected to cost almost $30 million.
The projects are:
· Potomac River water treatment plant upgrade - $17,064,000
· New Potomac River intake - $7,159,000
· 2-million-gallon storage tank at Cumbo Yard Industrial Park - $2,628,000
· 24-inch water main for the Cumbo Yard storage tank - $722,064
·16-inch waterline improvements in southern Berkeley County - $1,562,641
