New crafts store opens downtown

The City of Hagerstown held a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new downtown Hagerstown business on Thursday. Wyatt & Mychaela's Attic Treasures, Inc. is a new store at 32 E. Washington St.

This country boutique offers one-of-a-kind handmade wood crafts by Michael Hoover, who owns the store along with his wife, Diana Hoover, and daughter, Spring Roth. It also carries a large selection of wreaths, garland, candles, linens, pictures, paintings and Webkinz animals.

The store is named for Roth's children, Wyatt, 6, and Mychaela, 4.

Store hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, call 301-733-4452.
