Hagerstown Police respond to calls



The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following calls.

Monday:

· At 8:28 p.m., a burglary was reported at 350 Liberty St. A computer and tools were taken.

Tuesday:

· At 6:46 p.m., a burglary was reported at 506 Lynnehaven Drive. Some items were damaged.

Wednesday:

· At 6:39 a.m., a burglary was reported at 1650 Pullman Lane. Copper was stolen.

· At 11:32 a.m., a theft of a check was reported at 328 S. Mont Valla Ave.

· At 3:58 p.m., a vehicle was reported stolen at 256 S. Burhans Blvd. It later was recovered by Maryland State Police.

· At 10:45 p.m. a theft of jewelry and video games was reported at 247 Merrbaugh Drive.




Car reported stolen from Pa. home



CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Chambersburg police were investigating the theft of a car that occurred between 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and 5:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police said the silver 1990 Honda Accord was stolen from the driveway of Paul A. Crighton of 528 Stanley Ave. The car has a tinted rear window with some missing from the upper right corner, and low-profile tires.




Police investigating apparent robbery



CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police Thursday night were at Choice Cigarette Discount Outlet on Lincoln Way West for what was dispatched as an armed robbery.

The armed occurred at about 10 p.m. in the 900 block of Lincoln Way West, according to a 911 dispatcher.

Troopers at the scene refused to comment.
