Ceramics studio class

MONT ALTO, Pa. - The class is designed to introduce students to the art of making pottery and sculptural objects in clay. Students receive instruction and produce their own projects using clay-working techniques that include coil construction, slab building, press molding and throwing on the potter's wheel. Instructor is Tom McFarland. Nicodemus Center for Ceramic Studies at Penn State Mont Alto. $100 for center members and college faculty and students; $125 for the general public with a $25 materials fee for all registrants.
