Musical 'Homecoming' for World War II veterans

'Tuesdays with Morrie'

WINCHESTER, Va. - A man plans a visit to catch up with his old college professor, but it becomes a final class about the meaning of life. Continues through Saturday, Aug. 25. 8 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday; 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. 'Forever Plaid'

Washington County Playhouse will present "Forever Plaid," in which four young and eager male singers (killed on their way to their first concert) are miraculously revived for a posthumous chance to fulfill their dreams and perform "the show that never was" for the audience. The revue features "Chain Gang," "Catch a Falling Star," "Lady of Spain" and "Three Coins in a Fountain." Tickets, which include buffet, dessert and show, cost $30; $26 for seniors and students; and $17.50 for ages 12 and younger.
