Textbooks approved for financial course



The Washington County Board of Education voted Tuesday to approve new textbooks for a financial-management course.

The vote was 7-0.

The cost of the books is more than $50,000, officials said.

Officials told the board that the textbooks contain information that conforms to new state curriculum requirements.




Budget adjustments approved



The Washington County Board of Education voted Tuesday to approve fourth-quarter budget adjustments.

The vote was 7-0.

Chief Financial Officer Chris South said none of the changes will impact Washington County Public Schools programs.
