Sheriff's deputies respond to calls

August 20, 2007

The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to the following calls over the weekend, according to Lt. Mark Knight:

· Reported Friday at 9 a.m., a fuel pump worth $500 was taken from a fuel tank at Eisenhart Crane at 14702 Crown Lane.

· Reported Saturday at 2 p.m., a break-in was reported in the 14900 block of Falling Waters Road in Williamsport resulting in $200 worth of damage to a door. A china set worth $150 was stolen.

· Reported Saturday at 7:30 p.m., a break-in was reported in the 13500 block of Essex Drive. It was undetermined whether anything was taken.

· Reported Sunday at noon, a radio was stolen from a 2000 Chrysler at Harshman Automotive at 36 E. Water St. in Smithsburg.

· Reported Sunday at 1 p.m., a 2001 Ford truck was keyed and three of its tires were flattened in the 12000 block of Smithfield Farm Lane.

· Reported Sunday at 4:30 p.m., a radar detector and CDs were stolen from a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer in the 9800 block of Crystal Falls Drive.
