Seibert-Taylor

Lonna Lynette Bester Seibert and Todd Christopher Taylor announce their engagement.

Ms. Seibert is the daughter of Linda Lee Seibert of Hagerstown and the late Wayne A. Decker. She is a graduate of Smithsburg High School and received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in world history and folklore with a minor in archaeology from Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass. She also holds a Master of Arts in museum studies from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She is employed by the Smithsonian Institution as an external affairs and professional development coordinator for Smithsonian Affiliations.

Mr. Taylor is the son of Cheryl Taylor of Sterling, Va., and John H. Taylor of Haymarket, Va. He is a graduate of George C. Marshall High School in Falls Church, Va., and received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in political science with a minor in communications studies from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. He is self-employed as a computer software and database developer and completes contract work for federal and state government agencies and private companies.

Northrup-Vaughn

Kimberly Northrup and Chad Vaughn announce their engagement.

Ms. Northrup is the daughter of Tony and Donna Harris of Worcester, Vt. She is a 1999 graduate of Mount Mansfield Union High School and received a Bachelor of Science in youth ministry from Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, Mo. She is employed as a caregiver in Fairfax, Va.

Mr. Vaughn is the son of Stanley Vaughn of Scotland, Pa., and the late Candy Vaughn. He is a 1995 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School and received a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pa. He is employed as a corporate trainer at First Data in Hagerstown.

A February 2008 wedding is planned.




Peck-Kessler

Thomas Ray Peck Jr. of McConnellsburg, Pa., and Paula E. Cook and Avery M. Cook of Mercersburg, Pa., announce the engagement of their daughter, Noelle Ray Peck, to Travis J. Kessler, son of Robert and Carol Kessler of Chambersburg, Pa.

Ms. Peck is a 2003 graduate of McConnellsburg High School and is employed in retail management in Gettysburg, Pa.

Mr. Kessler is a 1998 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School and is also a 2001 graduate of Penn State University, Mont Alt, Pa.; and a 2004 graduate of Omega Studios' School for Applied Recording Arts and Sciences. He is employed as a computer technician in Gettysburg, Pa.

A January 2008 wedding is planned.




Lipka-Cordell

Rachelle Darla Lipka and Nicholas Kyle Cordell announce their engagement.

Ms. Lipka is the daughter of Larry and Ruth Lipka of Springfield, Ill. She is a 2003 graduate of Lutheran High School and plans to receive a bachelor's degree from Appalachian Bible College in Beckley, W.Va., in May 2008. She is employed as a counselor for Lutheran High Summer Day Camp in Springfield.

Mr. Cordell is the son of Rick Cordell and Brenda McCoy of Hagerstown. He is a 2004 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and plans to receive a bachelor's degree from Appalachian Bible College in May 2008. He is employed as a youth intern with Evangel Baptist Church in Hagerstown.

A May 2008 wedding is planned.




Richer-Bingaman

Joshua Peter Richer and Courtney Brooke Bingaman announce their engagement.

Miss Bingaman is the daughter of Shawn Bingaman of Waynesboro, Pa., and Krista Bingaman of Greencastle, Pa. She is a 2004 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School and a 2007 graduate of Hagerstown Community College. She is employed as a sales associate at Payless Shoe Source at Valley Mall.

Mr. Richer is the son of David and Sandra Richer of Woodstown, N.J. He is a 2003 graduate of A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis, N.C. He is employed as an auto salesperson at Hagerstown Ford.

A November 2007 wedding is planned.




Snyder-McKinney

Greg and Julie Snyder of Hagerstown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Ann Snyder, to Vern Franklin McKinney, son of John and Lois McKinney of Norwood, Mo.

Miss Snyder is a 2004 graduate of Washington County Technical High School. She is employed as a data entry operator at Direct Mail Processors in Hagerstown.

Mr. McKinney is a 2007 graduate of Missouri State University - West Plains and received an associate of science nursing degree. He is employed as a registered nurse at St. John's Hospital-Lebanon in Lebanon, Mo.

A June 21, 2008, wedding is planned.
