Potomac Towne Center to have 12-screen theater

August 18, 2007

RANSON, W.Va. - Carl M. Freeman Companies, which is developing The Boulevard at Potomac Towne Center on W.Va. 9 in Ranson, announced Friday that a 12-screen movie theater will be part of the project, according to a company press release.

New Jersey-based Frank Theatres hopes to open the theater by Memorial Day 2008, according to the release.

The two-story theater will be about 50,000 square feet and will feature mezzanine seating, a cafe, private party rooms and an arcade, according to the release.

It is the second Frank Theatres project to be built in West Virginia. The first was built in Scott Depot, W.Va., near Charleston.

The Boulevard is the second phase of the Potomac Towne Center project. It is across W.Va. 9 from the first phase, The Marketplace, which already is open. The Marketplace includes more than 20 stores, and is anchored by Weis Market, Home Depot, Petco and Kohl's.
