Q. What are your goals for the school year?

A. To continue to build on the success that is happening at Old Forge Elementary School. I want to promote student success, teacher growth and positive parental involvement in order to attain a quality school learning community. We need to set high expectations for all students and believe that all students will achieve at their highest potential.

Q. What will help ensure a successful year?

A. We will see student success when the school and families work together as a collaborative team. When students see this partnership, they realize that school is an important part of their lives. We will communicate with families by newsletter, regular teacher communication, school- and PTA-sponsored activities and our school Web site. Our school Web page contains useful information about the school including upcoming events, club information and supply lists. You can access the page at I encourage you to be involved in your child's education and enjoy the success that will follow.

Q. Can students and staff expect any changes this school year?

A. We continue to grow at Old Forge Elementary. You will be greeted with new faces as the year begins. The school staff has been busy preparing for a great year.

Q. What message would you like to send as the school year begins?

A. Old Forge Elementary is a learning community in which parents, students, teachers and staff work together in a cooperative and collaborative manner to ensure student success. Begin each day with a positive attitude and believe in yourself.
